The average operating rate of primary lead smelters in three provinces this week (October 31, 2025–November 06, 2025) was 67.57%, WoW increasing by 0.4 percentage points.
This week, a small-scale smelter in Henan resumed production after maintenance, leading to a slight increase in output. In Hunan, production at a small-to-medium-sized smelter experienced minor fluctuations due to raw material supply issues, while other smelters in the region operated at partial capacity and had not yet returned to full production. Smelters in Yunnan maintained normal operations. In other regions, a smelter in North China underwent scheduled maintenance and production cuts as planned, while another smelter's maintenance plan remained set for late November. Additionally, a smelter in Inner Mongolia, which had previously resumed operations after maintenance but had not reached full capacity, returned to normal production and still recorded a slight output increase this week.
